Welcome to the Caribou Rehab and Nursing Center!

Established in 1973

We are a 61 bed skilled rehab and nursing home center offering a wide range of services to suit each individuals needs. We work in conjunction with Cary Medical Center which is located less than a 1/4 mile away.

Our Nursing Facility Services includes 24 hour nursing care, therapeutic diets, scheduled activity programs, and volunteer visits. This is typically for maintenance level care.

The Caribou Rehab and Nursing Center is dedicated to provide compassionate high quality health care to its residents. We place a premium on preserving our residents' dignity and self-respect, while caring for their emotional, spiritual and physical well-being.



Alzheimers/Dementia

Alzheimers/Dementia care is provided in a separate area with their own customized activity programs. This is typically for mid to late stages of Alzheimer's or similar dementia.

Skilled Nursing - Rehab

Skilled Nursing - Rehab services include more in-depth care monitoring by RN staff and on-site therapy by licensed Physical and Occupational therapists. This is typically for rehabilitation purposes after hip or knee surgery, or for general strengthening.

Beauty Shop

Professional hair services are available several days per week in our on-site salon.

Other Professional Services

Other professional services offered on site for all residents by visiting practitioners include Podiatry (foot) care, Speech Therapy, Dental and Eye Care. Wheelchair van transports are provided for local medical appointments.

Physician Coverage is provided by Pines Health Services of Caribou.
